Robert Allen Carroll, age 64, of Bricelyn, MN died Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, MN from pneumonia with Covid-19 complications. Robert Allen was born April 15, 1956, in Fullerton, CA, the son of Robert Lee and Joan (Felts) Carroll. Robert graduated from Troy High School in 1975 and furthered his education at Long Beach College. Robert joined the U. S. Army and proudly served from 1978-1980; it was there that he learned gunsmithing. He was very active in his community as a member of the Wells Rifle and Pistol Club, the Bricelyn American Legion, Clarks Grove RC Racing and was a Deacon at Bridge Community Church. Robert was an avid rendezvouser and a member of the 4th Texas Regiment, doing Civil Was reenactments. He loved to go camping, hunt, fish and travel.
Robert is survived by his wife Mary of Bricelyn, MN; children: Daniel (Franie) Martindale of Manitowoc, WI, Robert Neal Carroll of Bricelyn, MN, April Carroll of Longtown, OK, Bethany Marie Carroll of Bricelyn, MN; step-children: Jesse Ataris of LaHabra, CA, Ben (Cristina) Ataris of Las Vegas, NV, and Sara Greer of Rochester, MN; grandchildren: Ryan Carroll, April Pelham, Donald Pelham; step-grandchildren: KC Olive, Lily Olive, Alex Paraschiv; sister Mary Ann Waits of Pleasantville, TN; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
