CORE SERVICES

Our Funeral Director and staff provide the following core services for each of the families we serve:

Transfer of remains from place of death to funeral home
Conducting the arrangements conference
Planning the funeral
Consulting with family and clergy
Shelter of remains
Preparing and filling of necessary notices
Obtaining necessary authorizations and permits
Coordinating with the cemetery, crematory, or other third parties
Filing of death certificate

We stand ready to serve your family 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

PREPARATION

Embalming
Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct cremation, immediate burial, or where dry ice is available.

Cremation
Cremation is a personal choice that provides additional flexibility. Minnesota law does not require you to purchase a casket for cremation. If you want to arrange a cremation, you can use a cremation container. Burial of ashes may take place on the same day of the funeral service or burial can be held at a later date.
