Lois was a great colleague to work with at St Casimir School. She loved her work, her students, the religious of the School Sisters of Norte Dame, and living her faith for the students. We enjoyed 50 years of friendship with Lois. Blessed be her memory. Our sympathy to her family. Jan and Ed Rowley
Love and prayers to all the families.
Peace to your family, Karen. May memories bring smiles, even laughter. I’m sad for the unusual ways we have to say good bye to loved ones and the distance most of us need to keep. May your days ahead bring continued good health.
Love Jim&Judy
Lois was my 4th grade teacher in Thompson, Iowa. Our lives crossed paths again some 20 years later when I became a part of Wells Electric Association and was reacquainted with Lois and Emil. A wonderful teacher and friend. Prayers to the family.
I met Lois in 1956 at Winona State College, we were both freshman. We were good friends although Lois only went there one year.
I went to her and Emil’s wedding in 1958, visited them once in Wells, and we always kept in touch at Christmas.
So sorry to hear this. My thoughts go out to Karen, Gary and the rest of the family.
Sorry to hear of your loss of your Mother. We use to play cards and Bible study with Emil & Lois and Emil and Bernie were classmates in Freeborn. Had lots of good times and Lois always had time to talk to you and a big smile. BERNIE & Eleanor Ignaszewski.
Sorry for your loss.
I think I spent half of my early years growing up in their home in Freeborn. The Jacobsons were great friends of mine and I am sad to hear of the passing of Lois.
My sympathies to the family. I met Lois through St. Casimir’s. She was a wonderful mentor at St. Casimir’s School when I first arrived. I sure enjoyed visiting with her at Church functions throughout the years. Rest In Peace!
I am sorry for the loss of you mom, Kevin and family. I remember her as one of our teachers at St Casimir school. She was always kind.
Dear members of Lois family. We just found out today about Lois passing. I was so surprised–hadn’t heard before this morning. I (Sharon) am her cousin. My sister Carol, Steve and I would meet Lois at Perkins and have a long visit a few times a year. We will certainly miss those visits . Lois was a wonderful person. Your family has our deepest sympathy. Steve and Sharon Koester (Kiester)
To my cousins Greg, Kevin, Mike, Karen, Gary and your families, I remember Lois having a welcoming smile, vibrant personality and lively laughter. I will miss seeing her at family gatherings as I’m sure so many others will as well. Brent and I extend our love and condolences to each of you during this time.
Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am still in lock down so I cannot attend wake or funeral. In prayers, Sister Joann McMahon
