Joyce Possin
Joyce Ann Possin, age 74, of Wells, MN, died Saturday, January 23, 2021 at her home in Wells, surrounded by her family after a short courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held in Ellendale, MN. at Vibrant Life Church (702 3rd Street South) on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor David Schreiber officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN, and will continue 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Wells, MN. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is entrusted with arrangements. Please see brussheitner.com to leave online condolences.
Joyce Ann was born October 4, 1946 in Blue Earth, MN, the daughter of George and Velma (Garnes) Moore. She married James Kaisersatt and to this union two daughters, Michele and Lori were born. The couple later divorced. Joyce gained another daughter, Sheila, when she married Delvin Possin on May 28, 1989. Joyce attended Mankato State, Mankato MN. She worked for a shirt factory in Arkansas, as a homemaker, and for Juba’s Supervalu for over 35 years.
Joyce had many hobbies including, gardening, sewing, reading, treasure hunting, and collecting many things. She loved baking and had a special gift for creating. Joyce was an active member of the United Church of God and was an avid bible reader. She had strong faith in God and was dedicated to service in the church. She was very active and involved in many areas of service, and was especially gifted in decorating tables for special occasions. She loved making memories with her family, entertaining, and loved a house full of guests. Joyce had a kind, caring, heart of gold, she was selfless and always put others before herself, she always had many words of wisdom.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 31 years, Delvin of Wells; daughters: Michele (Ron) Coe of Fairview, Il.; Lori (Randy) Godden of Fairmont, MN., Sheila (Bob) Spain of Clarks Grove, MN; grandchildren: Brittany Godden (JD) of Ceylon, MN.; Cody Meyer of Whitehall, MI.; Brooke Phillips (Anthony) of Ingleside, TX.; Travis Kroon of Fairmont, MN; Trevor Kroon of Fairmont, MN.; Katie Spain of Clarks Grove, MN.; great-grandchildren: Bentley, Rowan, Brantley, Myla, and baby girl due in July.
sisters: Betty Beenken of Mankato, Georgia (Bob) Wilson of Delevan, Florence Grams of Eau Claire, WI.; Delvin siblings: Marilyn (Rick) O’Rourke of Albert Lea; Lori Fette (Jussi Mikkonen) of Wells; Allen (Denise) Possin of MN Lake; Melanie (John) Gottberg of Wells; along with many nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Helen Latzke, brother Richard Moore.

Michele, Lori, and Sheila this is such a heart wrenching loss, and I’m so sorry it went this way. Your Mom was the sweetest, most kind person who cared for everyone. She will leave a big hole left behind, but also a great legacy! Loved her so much!!!

I had the honor of working with Joyce at Juba’s, not once but in two different time periods, and I am thankful she was there. You could always depend on her to have the answer to your questions or to show you how to do something that was new to you.
