Sympathy’s Janet and family
Doc Peterson was such a wonderful man and ambassador for the horse industry. I appreciated that he was so kind and understanding of all of our horse health issues and questions. We loved going down and participating in his annual horse shows too! Rest In Peace, Dr Peterson.
Janet: you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. So sorry for your loss.
Dear Janet and Family, Jack was one of a kind, in so many ways, and I know that you will all miss him in your own way. Father Syl Brown once told me that everyone grieves in their own personal way and time. He also reminded me to never take for granted a day of life, regardless of how tough that day was or is. Lynn, Lori, Jeff and Steven, there is never a time that we are prepared to lose a parent. And we always wish for one more smile, hug, laugh, even if the ravages of disease or age have taken them long before their body has joined our Savior in heaven. Those come with our blessed memories, and the joys we see in each day as life goes on. Being a dairy farmer, I know that your dad created many partnerships with his clients over the years. Jack’s incredible gift to agriculture leaves shoes that are almost impossible to fill, these days. He lead, inspired, and cared. God Bless you on this new journey. And for your wonderful husband, father and granddad, I am sure he is galloping in the heavens with Jesus hanging on tight!
He was a wonderful man. Our deepest sympathies to the family

Sympathy to the family of Jack. He was our vet for many years. What a wonderful man. Enjoyed visiting with him when he came out to my parents farm (Don Rauenhorst).
Thoughts and prayers are with you.
My deepest sympathy to Jack’s entire family. I literally grew up around Jack as our Veteranarian always coming out to our farm while I was growing up at any time he was needed to care for our animals. He was a wonderful Veteranarian, but was a more wonderful and caring person who put his community first in everything he did. What a full and productive life he led. He will be missed!
My sympathies to the Peterson family. Jack was a great man and was a pleasure to me learn some things with him.

Sorry for your loss. He will be missed.
So sorry for your loss. May the memories give you comfort. We lost a great man. He was like a father to me in times of being around Jeff and of course he would be the one guarding me when he would help out with basketball practice. Just a great person. He will be greatly missed.
This is so sad. He was so important to Bricelyn and the people living here. I remember calling him in the middle of the night for a sheep who was having trouble. ( I think he hated sheep. ) He’d come immediately wearing those cowboy boots that looked like tennis shoes. Janet and family, I am so sorry. He was a low key, man of few words who had an impact on us.
It was an honor to know Dr. Jack-both professionally and as a friend. Jack was truly a great practitioner, a kind man-to the animals and people he met. Godspeed Dr. Jack!
Oh Jack, you will be missed by so many people. My sympathy to Janet and family.
So very sorry for the loss of Jack! A marvelous man who gave so much to the community. I will always remember his undying support for the Bricelyn girls basketball program, such great memories! I know that Mom loved working with Jack at the vet’s office, and we all are thankful to Jack for saving our animals’ lives over and over! Many prayers to Janet and the family. Jack was loved by all and will be so missed.
My sympathies to Janet and the rest of his family. May our Lord Jesus Christ wrap you all in His living arms and grant you comfort and strength during this time. Jack was a special guy in my life teaching me how to rope calves as a teen. A kind, quiet, humble man that lived his life well and was a wonderful example to many. Blessings to his family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Thinking of you all.
Gods Speed Doc
Doc was our vet for many years. We trusted him with our most beloved family member. Every time I was in his office I learned something about an animal. You could tell the love of the animals ,and in Jacks case , especially horses. His family can lean on the thousands of memories they must have. Doc was such an asset for the community (and surrounding ) . He will be missed.
Jack was a legend; the end of an era.
He was a great vet first came to our farm and gave sows with piglets they were mad and had fevers he jumped in pens and gave shots to calm them it worked and that was a good day for us.
Janet, we send our deepest sympathy to you and your family. We are praying that God will give you the strength you need for the coming days and months. We’ll be in touch
Janet, sorry for your loss. Deepest sympathy to you and your family. Praying for you all.
Lori and family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. May peace be with you.
You’re all in my thoughts and prayers! Thank you for the honor of caring for Dr Jack! I loved all our rodeo conversations over the years and listening to his many stories. His kindness and talents live on in each of you!! He always spoke of all of you with such pride!!! ❤️
I enjoyed having Dr. Jack attend and join in the Activities. He was a ‘wealth’ of information and stories.
Janet and Family,
So sorry for your loss of Dr Jack. Reading all the tributes, it attests to the great legacy of Dr Jack to so many people. Hope it brings you comfort in knowing that others also feel your loss. Jack was a great person and a great Vet! He was our Vet (along with Doc Nelson) as kids growing up and he would come out to vaccinate pigs for our Dad. Always a wealth of knowledge and wisdom on animal care. Know of my thoughts and prayers for your family in the days ahead. Jack will live on in all of us by his example of living life to the fullest, in every aspect. God Bless you all during this difficult time.
Our deepest sympathy to you all. Doc was a great vet and so appreciated his help, stories, and the education along the way.
Our prayers are with you.
Jack was always committed to his clients. Once, while I was taking Jack to the emergency room, as he was having difficulty breathing, a client stopped by Jack’s house with a dog in need of vaccinations. Jack said “The ER can wait,” and Jack gave the dog its vaccinations. Then it was off to the ER. Jack’s patients always came first! When it was time to give my own aging dog relief from her pain, Jack rode up on his roping horse, dismounted, and helped my beloved Reba find her final rest, as I held her in my arms. Then Jack rode off on his roping horse into a beautiful golden sunset.
Happy Heavenly Trails to you, Doc Jack, and thank you for your kindness! And thank you, Janet and family for sharing Jack with all of us!
He is the only cowboy I ever have known! Remember the times seeing him at the farm and then at every 4th of July celebration in Bricelyn. Didn’t know him well but enough to know that he was a nice man. Hard enough to take care of humans — can’t imagine knowing about so many different animals that can’t say what is wrong.
A very Kind, Gentle and Patient man. An excellent vet.
