Gerald Rauenhorst, age 57, of Mankato, MN died on March 8, 2021. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel (OLMC) Catholic Church in Easton, MN on April 17 at 11:00 am with Fr. Greg Havel and Deacon Gene Paul officiating. Burial will be in OLMC Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at church.       Jerry was born September 18th, 1963 in Wells, MN the son of Milton and Kathryn (Grise) Rauenhorst. Jerry grew up on a dairy farm outside of Easton, MN and was baptized at of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Easton MN.  Jerry was a graduate of Wells-Easton High School and after graduation Jerry lived and worked in Fairmont before moving to Mankato where he lived and was employed at MRCI for many years.  He received love and attention from REM services in Mankato where he was a resident.  Jerry loved music, McDonalds and most of all watching his favorite show, “Charlies Angels”.  He will be remembered and missed for his never-ending kindness, as he never missed a greeting without asking, “How are you?

     Jerry passed away March 8, 2021 at his residence in Mankato, MN. He was 57 years old. Jerry will be missed by his sisters, Teresa (Gregg) Heckley of Tampa, FL, Julie (Glenn Garbowicz), Welsh of Naperville, IL, Mary Kay (Chris) Coyne of Apple Valley and Kim of Mankato; nieces and nephews Mary and Thomas Welsh V, Laura (Zach) Lebovic, Nicole Heckley, Katie and Kelly Coyne; Great aunts and uncle, Betty (Larry) Thisius, Marilyn Rauenhorst of Wells; and many other relatives and friends.

     He is preceded in death by his parents, Uncle Thomas Welsh IV, Great Aunts and Uncles, Donald (Darlene) Rauenhorst, Mary Jane (Harvey) Vogel, Melaine (James) Theede and Margaret Lubitz; and first cousins; Pamela Lubitz, Karen Thisius, Diane Thisius and John Rauenhorst.
