Muriel Faye Peters, age 93, of Wells, died peacefully Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Parkview Care Center in Wells, MN. A memorial service will be held  on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Vernon Center with Pastor Adam Finney officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church (from 10:00-11:00 AM).  Interment will be in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Vernon Center, MN.        Muriel Faye was born December 7, 1927 in Lake Crystal, MN, the daughter of Robert and Emma (Helleksen) Hohenstein.  She was baptized on January 4, 1928 and confirmed on April 6, 1941.  Muriel married Clarence Peters on July 15, 1951 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Vernon Center.

     Muriel is survived by her son Gregory Robert Peters (wife Carolyn Mitchell) of Lower Lake, CA; daughter Roxanne Miller of Wells, MN; grandchildren: Wesley Tolleson, Anthony Peters, Ashley Wolfe, Elizabeth Miller and Duane Miller, Jr.; great-grandchildren: Rashia Stadler, Aiden Groth, Adam Groth, Eathan Morales, Jr., and Fayla Ann Miller.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clarence Robert Peters; brother Wayne Hohenstein.
