Adeline was born in Danville Township on October 10th, 1923. Adeline is the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Dylla) Mosser. She lost her mom at the age of six. She was the middle child of nine siblings where she learned from an early age the chores and responsibilities of keeping a household running smoothly and started working in her early teenage years to help support her family. Adeline fell in love with the neighbor boy and soon married her “Bud” (Donald Schreiber) on September 19th, 1943.
Along with being a full-time mother, she worked 80 years of her life in numerous factories in Wells. She was a strong woman of faith, she belonged to St. Casimir Catholic Church, was a member of the Rosary Society, and the CCW circle. In the morning you would always find her praying her rosary by the window. Her hobbies included sewing, crossword puzzles, reading, gardening, watching the Minnesota Vikings, going for car rides and eating Sandies Pecan cookies or really any type of cookie. She was also known as the “Cookie Monster” by her care takers at Heartland Senior Living Clark Crossings in Wells, MN where she passed away peacefully.
One of Adeline’s greatest joys was being a grandmother and great grandmother. She loved spending time with them whether it was putting puzzles together or just watching them play and loving on them.
Her faith that her and her loved ones would be reunited again someday never wavered, and her eyes held steady on Jesus to help her through. Adeline was a beautiful soul and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by many.
Adeline will be missed by her five children: Diane (Michael) Graham of Centerbrook, CT. Jenny (Dave) Wiltse of Blue Earth, MN. Kathy (Paul) Kalis of Wells, MN. Natalie (Brian) Niebuhr of Wells, MN. Timothy Schreiber (Barb Tibbie) of Austin, MN. Grandchildren: Michele, Jean, Lesley, Jeffery, Jeremy, Nick, Nate, April, Ned, Heather, Shannon, Lindsae, Sara, Joshua, and Brooke. Great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Joseph, Ali, Andrea, Jacob, Kacie, Reid, Dakota, Zayden, Ayla, Malina, Penny, Dax, Enzo, Elio. And several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald (1994), parents (Joseph & Mary), mother & father in-law (Wesley & Anna (Amundson) Schreiber, all eight of her siblings (Raymond, Toni-Anthony, Francis, Victoria, Agatha, Margie, Roselyn, Marian), brother & sister in-laws, nieces & nephews, and granddaughter Cherie (2010).

Your mother, grandmother was such a sweet, caring , hard working lady . She always made us feel welcome when we came to her home and visit with us kids . Many fond memories of those days. You’re all in our prayers for comfort , sending lots of hugs.
Deepest sympathy to all the Schreiber family. Knew Adeline very well as I spent just about as much time at the Schreiber house as I did my own home. Many happy memories of those long ago days.
Sending loving, caring thoughts to the Schreiber family. Adeline was a good neighbor and always kind to me and my family. As a young kid, I spent a lot of time at the Schreiber home, sitting and visiting in Adeline’s new kitchen or playing Barbies in the back yard with Nattie. Thank you for being a part of my childhood memories.
