Joseph Edward Mazurkiewicz, age 76, of Minnesota Lake, MN, died Thursday, February 17, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 28, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake, MN with Father Greg Havel officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Interment will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Minnesota Lake, MN.      Joseph Edward was born February 20, 1945 in Jersey City, NJ, the son of Walter and Mary Mazurkiewicz.  Joe graduated high school and went on to graduate from Virginia Beach where he studied Business Management.  He was united in marriage to Kathleen Rowland, January 22, 1996 in Virginia Beach, VA.  Joe loved to be outside, fishing, camping and working on cars.  Joe also enjoyed building model cars, playing solitaire and doing cross word puzzles.  The holidays were a special time at the Mazurkiewicz house. They were known to decorate both the inside and outside, especially for Halloween and Christmas.  Family was very important to Joe, spending days going to car shows and concerts, and watching cartoons together.

     He is survived by his sons: Robert and Shawn Mazurkiewicz both of Minnesota Lake, MN.

    Joe is preceded in death by his parents; wife Kathleen in 2019; sons: Joey Mazurkiewicz and Stephan Mazurkiewicz.
