Ardyth “Ardie” Esser
Ardyth “Ardie” Esser, age 85, of Minnesota Lake, MN, went to her Lord surrounded by her family at her home Thursday, March 3, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 10, 2022 at Peace United Church of Christ in Minnesota Lake, MN at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held at Nasinec Funeral Home Wednesday March 9, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM, visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church on Thursday.
Ardie was born in Windom, MN. She graduated from Heron Lake High School and married her high school sweetheart, Jim Koch. The couple were married for 18 years and to this union they were blessed with seven children. In 1977, Ardie married Doug Esser and they spent 44 years in love with each other.
Ardie worked many years at the Lake Café and Old Mill Bar in Minnesota Lake. She enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren. She loved flowers and doing crossword puzzles.
Ardie is survived by husband Doug; her children: Jeff (Rhonda) Koch, Jane McGregor (Don), Julie Koch (Terry Jaeger), Jason (Kelli) Koch, son-in-law Brian Sonnek, daughter-in-law Terri Neuhaulfren. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ardie was preceded in death by her first husband Jim, two sons John and Jimmy, and daughter Jean Sonnek.

Ardie was always fun to work with at the Old Mill. We had a lot of laughs together. She was the meaning of a hard worker and an all around great person. She will be truly missed by anyone who knew her.
My condolences to the family. She was always nice to me. Worked many shifts with her at the Old Mill back in the day.
