Dean Allen Albers, age 65, of Wells, MN died Tuesday March 8th, 2022 at Abbott North Western Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Visitation will be held this Friday, March 18, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 PM with his family at Nasinec Funeral Home and Crematory in Wells (789 Business Park Drive Wells, MN). Full Military Honors will be accorded by the Bricelyn American Legion Post when burial is scheduled later this Spring in Brush Creek Cemetery, Brush Creek Twp., Faribault Co., MN. Dean Allen Albers was born February 26th, 1957 in Wells, MN to Henry and Lillie (Christiansen) Albers. Dean was the youngest of their four children. Dean joined the Army as a combat engineer and an infantry man. Dean was very proud of his Military career and continued to be passionate about the military by helping at the Legion in Bricelyn, MN.
Dean married Tamara Clore and they had three children and the couple later divorced. You could always count on him to crack a witty joke or lend you a smile if you needed one. Dean was a free spirt and enjoyed traveling and meeting new friends. He was a “jack of all trades”, and worked many jobs in his life. Dean enjoyed simply chatting with old friends, hunting with his brothers, or working on vehicles. Dean took pride in teaching his children new skills such as tying knots, baiting a fishing hook, or working on cars. Dean was also very proud to be upgraded to a Grandpa twice in the last year.
Dean is survived by his sister Rosalie Albers of Bricelyn, MN, Daughters Alicia (Mitchell) Delosoul of Albert Lea, MN, Daughter Krystal Albers (Eric Cook) of Hayward, MN, Son Garret Albers of Bricelyn, MN and grandsons Stephan Delosoul and Jaxon Cook.
Dean is proceeded in death by his parents Henry and Lillie Albers and brothers Dale Albers and Randall “Randy” Albers.
