Thomas “Tom” Staloch, age 65, of Wells, MN died on Saturday, September 30, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 at 10:30AM at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church in Wells, MN with Father Eugene Stenzel officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with a prayer service being held at 7:00PM at Nasinec Funeral Home (789 Business Park Dr., Wells, MN 56097). Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at St. Casimir’s Church on Friday (9:30-10:30AM). Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells is entrusted with arrangements. Tom was born August 31, 1958 in Wells, MN son of Adrian and Gayle (Thisius) Staloch. He graduated from Wells-Easton High School, the class of 1977. After high school Tom attended Albert Lea Vo-Tech and graduated with his electrician’s certificate. Tom was united in marriage to Marilyn Elmer June 14, 1986 at St. Casimir’s Catholic Church in Wells, MN. Farming and his grandchildren were his whole world. Tom is known for planning spontaneous vacations with Marilyn. The couple enjoyed hiking together. He was a lifelong member of St. Casimir’s Catholic Church and an avid collector of cars.
Tom is survived by his wife Marilyn Staloch of Wells, MN; children: Joseph Staloch (Danielle Roe) of Albert Lea, MN, Kimberly (Sam) Stevermer of Eagle Lake, MN, Jay (Kelsey) Staloch of Wells, MN, Robin (Sam) Blasing of Kasota, MN; grandchildren: Brycen, Blake, and Maxwell Stevermer; Amelia, Ragen and Baby Staloch on the way; and Layla Blasing; siblings: Jeffrey (Beth) Staloch of Wells, MN, Amy (Troy) Powell of Cape Coral, FL, Nancy (Ken) Barber of Bloomington, MN; in-laws: Jim (Patti) Elmer of Eau Claire, WI, Deb (Floyd) Lackey, and Karen Quade all of Wells, MN; along with many nieces, nephews, and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents Adrian and Gayle Staloch.
