I’m really going to miss her. She has been my partner for many sport games at USC. We were together Friday night at the FB game, telling each other, will see you Thursday night. This was a big shock to me. Genelle would call me to just check on me since my husband died. She was truly a dear friend. RIP Genelle
Heaven is gaining another good one.
I remember Genelle from my days in high-school. Any time coming in to the office If I had a question she always had the answer. Then also the ticket person down in the cafeteria. For any of the smart mouth kids that had something to say, she always had a quick response.
She always had a smile on her face and showed us kids respect and If we were willing to listen some good advice.
She especially showed me a lot of respect n goodwill after my injury.
The last time I saw her was 10 years ago on the day that she passed away at my mom’s funeral.
But what I’m going to always remember her by far the most was what a beautiful big head of hair she sported everyday. The same do…. not a lock of hair was out of place. Beautiful indeed, I was jealous.
Rest in peace Genelle.
I worked with Genelle at the school for many years. She was such a joy and her laugh was infectious! She was always kind and caring for students and co-workers. I just visited with her at my mothers visitation and we talked about getting together for coffee and now it is too late. Never put off what you can do today. She was a gem and will miss her bright smile and friendship!
Genelle always brought me gourds every fall, she was a good friend to me
Genelle became a friend back in both of our working days. We would take a lunch break at Wells Drug and chat about family friends and of course our hosta gardens. After we retired we would still get together. She would drive out to my lake cottage or I would come to Wells to see her lovely and large hosta garden and have lunch. After I moved to Florida we still kept in contact with long phone calls. I called her the Thursday before she passed. Just a normal conversation about our lives. So glad we had that chat . I will miss her
Sorry for your loss. Genelle was a great lady. She was a neighbor as well as I worked with her in the summer. It was always great to see her when I came back to Wells to visit my mom. I will miss her.
