Dennis “Butch” Becker, age 70, of Easton, MN, died Thursday, October 19, 2023 at his home after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 11:00AM in Easton, MN with Father Eugene Stenzel and Deacon Gene Paul officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 4:00-7:00PM at Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday (10:00-11:00AM). Butch was born January 19, 1953, the son of Lawrence and Gertrude (Dombrowski) Becker in Mankato, MN. He graduated from Delavan Public High School. Butch was united in marriage to Kay Huffman on June 5, 1982 in Mankato, MN. He was blessed with 3 daughters and 7 grandsons. Butch was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Easton, MN. He was a life-long farmer, a profession he loved. Butch was always willing to lend a helping hand, clearing out nine yards each time it snowed. He was an avid collector of tractors and big boy toys. Butch was a loving grandfather to his grandsons, and enjoyed taking in a car race, or going to the park for a game. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Butch is survived by his wife Kay Becker of Easton, MN; 3 daughters: Melissa (Scott) Duce of Shoreview, MN, Angie (Travis) DeBoer of Fairmont, MN, and Anita (Dustin) Anderson of Mankato, MN; grandsons: Charlie and Ryan Duce; Trace, Clay, and Lane DeBoer; and Everett and Huntley Anderson; brothers: James (Virginia) Becker of Battle Ground, WA, Gary (Diane) Becker of Blue Earth, MN; sister: Jean (Terry) Roeszler of Warner, SD, Aunt Carmel Gingiss of CA, and Aunt Louella Becker of Blue Earth, MN; along with many nieces, nephews, and their families.
He is preceded in death by his parents Tony and Gertie, infant sister Terese Marie, along with numerous aunts and uncles.

I grew up with Butch, a year ahead of him at OLMC and DHS. I remember in high school football practice that I dreaded going up against him in the meat-grinder drill. He was like Dick Butkus ! But really a gentle giant. Fair winds and following seas Butch.
