Marcia Jean Schroeder, age 71, died Saturday, December 16, 2023 at her home in Wells, MN. A visitation will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells, MN with a gathering at the Wells VFW afterward.

Marcia was born April 17, 1952 to Vernon and Mary (Gansmoe) Anderson. She attended and graduated from Blue Earth High School. She was united in marriage to Richard Schroeder on August 26, 1972. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, and worked at the Wells VFW until she retired in 2018.  She loved to play cards and Bingo. Marcia loved to spend time in the kitchen cooking and enjoyed time spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband Richard of 51 years; children: Troy (Brandie) Anderson, Tara Schroeder (Jim), and Tanya (Steve) Meyer; 13 grandchildren: Josh (Jamie) Schroeder, Samantha Kohnert, Jacob Kohnert, Trevor Brekken, Chandler Anderson, Seth Anderson, Kaelyn (JP) Sletten, Kiel (Krystal) Sletten, Karter (Natalie) Sletten, Shyann (Sam) Meyer, Jesse (Sara) Meyer, Wyatt Meyer, and Jaden Anderson; 16 great-grandchildren: Aria, Jaylen, Niah, Xyla, Emmett, Zoey, Mason, Jaden, Ruxin, Augist, Ascher, Alayah, Lyla, Kaden, Landyn, and Karalyn; sister: Mel (Scott) Phillips; brother: Mark (Robin) Anderson; sisters-in-law: Patty Anderson, Peggy Anderson, Sandy Schroeder, Jennifer (Matt) Simon; brother-in-law Chuck Schroeder; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Mike Anderson and Matt Anderson; in-laws: Burt and Donna Schroeder; brothers-in-law: Jerry, Tom, and Jason Schroeder.
