Jane Ann (Lutteke) Brown, age 81 of Blue Earth, MN formerly of Onarga, IL passed away March 22,2024 at Goldfinch Memory Care in Fairmont, MN.
Jane was born June 19th, 1942 in Champaign, Illinois (one of three triple daughters) born to Benjamin and Edith (Haymond) Moore. Jane graduated high school in 1960 and began her career in retail sales. In 1963 Jane married Gordon Lutteke and together they had two children, Todd and Tamara. Sadly, Gordon preceded her in death in 1999. Jane met and later married John R. Brown Jr., in March of 2009.
Jane was a people person, very outgoing and enjoyed meeting people. She loved to travel with her first husband Gordie and visiting new places in their camper. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and dancing. She adored her grandchildren and especially loved spending time with them. Jane also loved to go on cruises with John.
Jane is survived by her husband John R. Brown Jr., of Blue Earth, MN, son Todd (Shelly) Lutteke of Wells, MN, daughter Tamara (Joel) Caldwell of Amboy, MN, sister June (Larry) Green of Batavia, IL; grandchildren: Brooke (Josh) Rebelein, Travis (Rachel) Lutteke, Whitney (Nathan) Girard, Brad (Kristy) Caldwell, Tyler (Albertson) Caldwell , Cody (Jenise) Keller, Colten and Logan Caldwell, Mathew Keller; 6 great-grandchildren: Ally, Anastasia; Lyra, Emerson, Halen and baby Lutteke on the way.
She was preceded in death by her late husband Gordon Lutteke, parents, Benjamin and Edith (Haymond) Moore, brother, James Moore, sister, Janice (Ron) Rohrer, and grandson Joseph Keller.
There will be a graveside service in Rosehill Cemetery in Wells at a later date.

I’m so sorry to hear this. I met Jane while working at the Wells Clinic, she always had a smile and if you were having a bad day it didn’t last long because she always gave you something to laugh about.

So Sorry for your loss! Our Deepest Sympathies Todd and Tammy & Families Jane was so beautiful inside and out. She always looked and dressed perfectly. I enjoyed working with her at the Well House. Best of all she was our back door neighbor too! Our properties connected. She planted flowers where our properties connect. They come up every year. So we get to enjoy them, while we are out on our patio. And think of her! ♥️
