Lois Jean (Sahr) Christensen, age 75 of Bricelyn, MN passed away March 23, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Austin, MN. Services will be private with her family.  Please see www.nasinecfh.com to leave online condolences.

Lois was born September 1, 1948 in Blue Earth, MN to Oakley and Christine (Johnson) Sahr. She graduated from high school in 1966.  On September 24, 1966 Lois married Carroll Christensen and together they had four sons; Lon, Loren, Lance and Jason.

While raising her children, she worked as a home health aide for Faribault County and later in housekeeping at Parkview Care Center. She enjoyed rummaging, cheering for the Minnesota Vikings, playing marbles, reading, crocheting, painting, and vacationing in Wisconsin Dells.

Lois is survived by her husband Carroll Christensen, of Bricelyn, MN, four sons Lon (Rosemary) Christensen, Loren (Tanya) Christensen, both of Wells, MN, Lance (Jennifer) Christensen of Burt, IA and Jason (Tana) Christensen, of Alden, MN. Lois was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 dogs, Molly and Skeeter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oakley and Christine Sahr; sisters-in-law Nancy Sahr and Ilene Scheid and in-laws Clair and Eunice Christensen.
