Ronald “RE” E. Evenson, Jr., age 58, of Minnesota Lake, MN, died Thursday, May 30, 2024. The memorial service will be held Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 11:00am at Peace Church in Minnesota Lake. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells. Burial will be in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Easton, MN. Please dress casual as that is what RE would want.
Ronald was born July 5, 1965 the son of Ronald Sr. and Mary (Perryman) Evenson. RE grew up and went to school in Minnesota Lake. He worked many years for A&B Welding in Thompson, IA as a welder building fertilizer tanks. He also helped out with farming. RE enjoyed watching NASCAR races and football; as well as hanging out with the guys at Todd’s.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Evenson Sr; brother-in-law, Randy Blaschko; grandparents Ralph and Darleen Perryman, and Nelver and Leona Evenson.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Scofield of Minnesota Lake, MN, 3 sisters: Cathi Currier of Forest City, IA, Rhonda (Jeff) Wallace of Minnesota Lake, Cristine Blaschko of Le Center, MN; nephews: Jonathan (Haily) Currier of Mason City, IA, Jordan Currier of Meservy, IA; Darin (Mindy) Woitas of Mankato, MN, Dylan (Brittany) Woitas of Kasota, MN; Erik Blaschko of Le Center, MN; great nieces and nephews: Brenna, Hailee, Mason, Theo and Harper; special friends: Todd (Jackie) Neubauer of Wells, MN; Tony Bok of Delavan, MN; Jesse Hill of Mankato MN; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
