Donald Nowak, age 69, of Wells, MN passed away Friday, August 9th, 2024 unexpectedly at his home. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (10-11am) Friday, August 23rd, 2024 and the funeral service will start at 11:00 am at Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells, MN. Burial will be at Our Lady Mount Carmel Cemetery outside of Easton, MN.
Donald Joseph Nowak was born November 5, 1954 in Wells, MN to Raymond and Mercedes (Formanek) Nowak. Don graduated in 1973 from Wells-Easton High School. Don went to Vo-Tech in Mankato and went on to become a master auto mechanic. Don married Linda Schultz July 20th 1974 at Our Lady Mount Carmel in Easton, MN and they welcomed 3 children. He was a member of Pheasants Forever in Faribault County and the Wells Gun Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and tinkering around in the shop. He loved taking the grandchildren for 4-wheeler rides.
He is preceded in death by his wife Linda Nowak; parents Raymond and Mercedes Nowak; in- laws Marvin and Alice (Roessler) Schultz.
He is survived by his children: Paul (Jeri) Nowak of Prior Lake, MN, Kimberly (Brady) Hensch of Hanska, MN, and Sean (Randy Poulson) Nowak of Lakeville, MN; siblings: James (Carol) Nowak of Ellendale, MN, Clara Halverson of Billings, MT, Betty (Bob) Shannon of Jacksonville, FL, Edward (Wendy) Nowak of Janesville, MN, Nancy (Greg) Dahlen of Hayfield, MN, Chuck Nowak of Wells, MN, and Ruth (Matt) Schaper of Wells, MN; grandchildren: Erin, Ethan, Tyler and Alexander; sisters in-law: Joan (Al) Stern of Wells, MN, Mary Jo (John) Kuhn of Blue Earth, MN and Kathleen Garvick of Wells, MN and many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
