Marjorie Ann Mutschler, age 90 of Kiester, MN died Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Parkview Care Center in Wells, surrounded by her family. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 PM and will continue one hour prior to the service on Monday (10:00-11:00am).  The Funeral service will be Monday, Dec. 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Kiester.

Marjorie Ann was born April 4, 1934 to Harry and Eva (Winter) Adams at Buffalo Center, IA, where she grew up.  She graduated from Buffalo Center High School in 1951 and worked as a bookkeeper for a few years.  On June 5, 1955 she was united in marriage to Dean Mutschler of Kiester at the Congregational Church in Buffalo Center.  The couple worked together farming the family farm until 1993 when they retired but continued to live on the farm.  They were the parents of one son, Robert Dean.

Marjorie was a member of Open Doors United Methodist Church- Kiester, the UMW and Ruth Circle.  She enjoyed reading, quilting and puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Edith Mutschler of Bricelyn; grandsons: Perry (Dana) Mutschler of Wells, Marcus (Stacy) Mutschler of Cleveland, Harold (Heidi) Albrant, David Albrant (Char), all of Bricelyn, MN, Chris (Jody) Albrant of Lake Mills, IA; Great-grandchildren: Michael and Marie Mutschler; Aiden, Olivia, Tristan and Gavin Mutschler; Alicia Burkhow; Nate and Colton Albrant; and Parker Albrant; Great-Great grandchildren: Skylar, Chloe and Gabe Burkhow;  Sisters: Arliss Rich of Algona, IA, Sharon Nerdig of Forest City, IA, Beverly Jutting of Chandler, AZ, Patsy Sorenson of Adams, MN; brother David Friesenborg of Barton, FL; along with many nieces, nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dean (1998), son Robert (2018), her parents; step-mother Darlene; infant grandson Robert Dale, and brother Richard Adams.  Sister Ruth Liebrand and sister-in-law Muriel Adams and brothers-in-law Larry Nerdig, Tom Rich, Al Sorenson, and Virgil Mutschler.
