Douglas “Doug” Eustice, age 74 of Waldorf, MN passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 surrounded by the love of his family. Services will be held privately with family.
Doug was born February 16, 1950 in Albert Lea. He grew up with a strong sense of duty and a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys. His call to serve came early and he answered it with honor to serve for his country in Vietnam with courage and dedication.
Doug built a life centered on family and community. Doug found immense joy in being a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Doug retired after fulfilling a 23-year career at McPherson Minn Lake Mutual Insurance Company where his dedication and professionalism left a lasting impression. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, he never met a stranger.
He was an avid admirer of Allis-Chalmer Tractors, he enjoyed reminiscing about their role in his childhood. Doug was a devoted family man, a proud Vietnam Veteran and a friend to many.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Connie; daughter Gayle (Ben) Elston; son Michael (Tiffany) Eustice; grandchildren Eli, Monroe, Brynn; Ryden and Brady.
