Robert P. Neubauer
Robert Patrick Neubauer, age 96, of Blue Earth, MN, died Saturday January 25, 2025 at Parkview Care Center in Wells. A Memorial Mass will be at St. Casimir Catholic Church on February 1, 2025 with visitation at 1:00pm and the service to start at 2:00pm. Father Pratap Reddy Salibindla will officiate and the interment will at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery, Wells. * In Lieu of Flowers, the family prefers memorials to be sent to the Wells Area Veterans Memorial Park or UHD Hospice. Robert Patrick was born March 18, 1928 to Mathias and Mary (Nowak) Neubauer on the home farm in Dunbar Township Faribault County, MN. Robert was united in marriage to Rita Doyle on November 6, 1957 at Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Easton, MN and to this union 4 children were born.
Robert attended St Casimir Catholic grade school and graduated from Wells High School in 1946. Robert held many jobs before being drafted into the Army in 1950. He went to Korea April of 1951 until May 1952 and was honorably discharged in October 1952. In March of 1956 Robert worked for DX Oil Co. In 1977 he purchased it and changed it to Neubauer Oil Company. Robert was a life member of the VFW and was past commander 1958-1959. Robert also drove school bus, bartended at the VFW and at the Golden Bubble.
Robert is survived by his children: Carrie (Jim) Munsch of Sioux Falls, SD, Dan (Jackie) Neubauer of Wells, MN, Bryan (DeeAnn) Neubauer of Wells, MN; Sisters-in-law Rose Doyle and Dawn Doyle both of Easton MN; grandchildren: Andy (Shelley) Munsch, Jaime (Matt) Bukrey, Jenna (Austin) Winberg, Brandon (Kristen) Reese, Kyle & Kelly Neubauer, Hailey & Nick Neubauer; great grandchildren: Alana & Levi Reese; Greta, Elsa, Inga & Willa Bukrey; Ivah & Jude Winberg; and many nieces and nephews.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife Rita (2020); his parents; daughter and son-in-law Sharon (2018) & Dan (2019) Doering; siblings: Mary Ann (John) Weber, Joseph (Beatrice), Matt (Dorothy), James (Eleanor), Jacob (Vera) Neubauer and Barney (Evelyn) Neubauer; brothers-in-law: Frank Doyle, Dan (Jean) Doyle, Robert Doyle.
Thank you to Dr. Johnson, UHD, Parkview Staff and Barb & Loren Prescher for their many meals and time spent with Robert.
