Patsy Beckmann, age 73 of Wells, MN passed away Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Mapleton Community Home. A visitation will be Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 4:00-7:00pm at Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells and will resume one hour (10:00am-11:00am) prior to the funeral at church. A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells, MN on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:00am. Pastor Vern Christopherson will officiate and burial will be at Peace Cemetery in Minnesota Lake.
Patsy Dee Beckmann was born August 28, 1951 a daughter to Earl and Mildred (Torgusen) Tolzmann in Mankato, MN. She grew up in Minnesota Lake with her four siblings. Patsy graduated from Minnesota Lake High School in 1969. She attended Mankato VO-TEC for Clerical Studies. After college, she worked for Nordaas Homes in Minnesota Lake, Gadola/Bichler Law Office, Del Monte, Cenex, and managed Broadway Apartments before her retirement. In 1971 Patsy married Charlie Beckmann and had three children, they later divorced. Patsy was a strong, successful single mother who worked tirelessly to provide for her children.
Patsy loved spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as her close friends. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed her time quilting with her sister and friends. Patsy was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for many years, enjoying her time spent on the Council and in the choir. She enjoyed trips to Door County, Tennessee, Paducah quilting trips, and to Disney. She loved to celebrate special occasions with her family.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents and one sister Annabelle in infancy.
She is survived by her children: Matthew Beckmann of Boston, MA, Melissa (Shane) Beckmann of Cologne, MN, Michael (Amy) Beckmann of Cedar Rapids, IA; grandchildren: Elizabeth, Hannah, and Caden Beckmann; siblings: Beverly Sartain, Stanley (Evie) Tolzmann, Trudy Thomas, and Julie (Dennis) Christensen; and many nieces, nephews, along with their families.

Patsy was such a special positive person. We had kids about the same age and spent time sharing stories. Loved talking quilts with her. She will always have a place in my heart. Quilt on, Patsy!!!
