Catherine (Cathy) Schroeder, age 81 of Easton, MN died Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Ingleside Assisted Living in Fairmont, MN. Services will be held at a later date and the interment will be held privately. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials can be given in her memory to UHD Hospice in Blue Earth.
Cathy was born January 27, 1944, to Francis and Edna Tetzloff. She married Harold (Sonny) Schroeder on February 2, 1963, in Mankato. Cathy worked at Telex in Blue Earth for many years. She enjoyed listening to Elvis and Country Music, she also loved watching Western Movies- any movie with John Wayne was her favorite.
She is preceded in death by her husband Sonny; her parents; sister Maggie (Gerald) Splett and brother Mike Tetzloff.
Cathy is survived by her Children: Lisa Schroeder of Rake, IA, Lonny (Shannon) Schroeder of Easton, MN, Mark (Lisa) Schroeder of Ham Lake; grandchildren: Brandon Schroeder, Courtney Barbosa, Collin Blackstad (Jessica Barg), Andy (Rachel) Schroeder, Bryanna (Troy) Sonnek, Max Schroeder, Samantha Schroeder; great-grandchildren: Tucker and Trace Schroeder; Luciana, Alicia, Emily and Carolos Barbosa, Ethan Fickett, Avery and Sawyer Schroeder; siblings: Ann Tetzloff of Williston, ND and Allen Tetzloff of Mankato, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
So sorry for your loss, Cathy was a great neighbor when she lived in Easton. Was always ready to have a beer with you in the evenings. She was fun to visit with.
