Warren Arthur Ruedy, Jr, age 75, of Mankato, MN passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Oak Lawn Rehabilitation Center. Services will be held privately at a later date.

Warren was born on July 11, 1949, in Waseca, MN to Jeanne (nee Speight) Brockmiller and Warren Arthur Ruedy Sr.  He grew up in Waseca, MN before moving to Minneapolis with his father. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1967. On January 13th, 1978, Warren married Diane Jones at First Congregational Church in Waseca, MN.

Warren spent 25 years on the railroad with Chicago Northwestern and Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern Railroads.  After retiring from the railroad, he worked four years with Corn Plus in Winnebago then worked for 15 years at ADM in Mankato before finally retiring in 2012.  Warren spent his retirement panning for gold in South Dakota, reading, and spending time with his dogs, Scruffy and Luci Lu.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, stepmother, sister Kathleen Benson, daughter-in-law Natalie Ruedy, in-laws, Paul and Norma Jones; and brothers-in-law Don Allen, Roland Kettinger and Fred Peterson.

He is survived by his wife Diane, children: Jared (Lynn) Ruedy of Waseca, Miranda Ruedy (Lonnie Johnson) of North Mankato and Aaron Ruedy (Allyson Kane) of Mankato; grandson Nick Ruedy; honorary grandchildren: Michael, Deangelo, Cheyenne, Orlando, Levi and Eden; siblings: Mary Allen and Sheila Kettinger of Tennessee, Marc Ruedy (Carrie Janike) of Waseca, and Gayle (Pete) Krause of Alabama; in-laws: George (Sheila) Jones, Joan Peterson, Clif (Chris) Jones, Roy Jones, Eric Jones, and many nieces and nephews.
