LuVerne Beyer, age 93, of Minnesota Lake died Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at home on the farm. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at First Lutheran Church in Waldorf, MN at 11am with a visitation starting one hour (10am-11am) prior to the service. Pastor Larry Sipe will be officiating, and burial will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Vivian Twp.

LuVerne Marvin Beyer was born December 15, 1931 to Henry and Minnie (Schnell) Beyer on their family farm outside of Minnesota Lake, MN. He attended country school and enjoyed farming on the family dairy farm near Minnesota Lake his entire life. He met Gayette at the Kato Ballroom, and they enjoyed dancing together during their marriage.  Even though LuVerne was an only child, he had many cousins and other family members that he enjoyed spending time with at gatherings, visiting and playing cards.  Farm auctions were also a favorite activity for LuVerne.  LuVerne and Gayette had six children together, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church for most of his life until its closing and then attended First Lutheran Church in Waldorf.

He is preceded in death by his son, Terry (1993); and his parents.

LuVerne is survived by his wife, Gayette, of 65 years; children, Dawn (Bill) Naber of Owatonna; Jane Zabel of North Mankato; Karen (John) Hargens of Greenville, Iowa; Randy (Jill) Beyer of Mapleton; Sarah (Ivan) DenOuden of Waseca; 10 grandchildren:  Jay Naber of West Des Moines, Scott Naber and Mark Naber of Owatonna; Trevor (Dani) Zabel of Cokato, Courtney Zabel of St. Peter; Ben Hargens and Jacob Hargens of Greenville, Iowa; Leighton Beyer of Mapleton; Isabel DenOuden and Isaac DenOuden of Fargo, North Dakota; 2 great-grandchildren, Carly Reger and Cayden Reger.
