Lynn M. Bartness, age 89 of Polo, MO (formerly of Walters, MN) died Monday, January 19, 2026. Services will be held at a later date.

Lynn Marie was born May 4, 1936 to Albert and Carol (Johnston) Jeddeloh. She was baptized, confirmed and married at First Congregational Church in New Richland. Lynn married Dale Bartness April 15, 1961. The couple moved to Albert Lea, where Dale worked at Wilson’s and Lynn worked for Freeborn National Bank (now U.S. Bank). After moving to Oklahoma in 1981, Lynn worked for Allied Oklahoma Bank and later Local Federal Bank.

Lynn served as president of the Sunset Saddle Club in Albert Lea, and enjoyed attending horse shows with her daughters and granddaughters for many years. She was a proud member of United Lutheran Church, Esther Circle, and Altar Guild. In addition to playing the piano, Lynn loved sewing outfits for her children and granddaughters, and enjoyed both reading and baking. She made the best cinnamon rolls.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dale; brother Stuart Jeddeloh; grandson David Johnson; and great granddaughter Aryanna Lynn Dorman.

Lynn is survived by her daughters: Debra (Rick), Julie, and Kelly (Paul); grandchildren: Blair (Dennis), Arron (Mary), Jeremy, Molly, and Megan; and great-grandchildren: Trenton and MaKenna.
