David Bullerman
David Miles Bullerman, age 41, of Burnsville, MN, formerly of Wells, MN, died Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells, MN, with Father Greg Havel officiating. Visitation will be from 2-5 PM Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN . Face masks must be worn and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
David Miles was born April 11, 1980, in Wells, MN. The youngest son of Miles and Jeanne (Schlichte) Bullerman. David learned at an early age how to be a fighter, when at only 13 months of age he had his first open heart surgery due to being born with a congenital heart defect. With the odds stacked against David he proved the doctors wrong with his long term prognosis. David attended St. Casmir’s Catholic School from kindergarten through 6th grade and graduated from United South Central in 1999. David’s love for sports began with youth wrestling which he continued throughout his high school years. He was also a member of the USC football team but his passion for football did not end there as he was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. David had a way with people, no matter who you were, or where you were at he would always go out of his way to lend a helping hand or make you smile. David made a lot of friends along the way while working at the Hilton, Buffalo Wild Wings (Station 19) and most recently Wells Concrete. One of David’s greatest accomplishments was being an uncle which he took great pride in and his title of “Uncle Buddy”. David had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by many, especially his beloved black lab, Nala.
David is survived by his parents, Miles and Jeanne Bullerman. His brothers and their families Jeff and Illeana, Brian and Tammy, Cobi (Gina), Kyley (Cory), Kolt and Chloe, DJ and Kristin, AJ, Blake, Drew and his faithful black lab Nala; and Grandmother Arlene Schlichte, many aunts uncles and cousins as well as so many great friends that became like family.

This is heartbreaking news. My brother and I were best friends with Davey from kindergarten to 4th grade before moving. We were together every day. My parents had the pizza sore uptown and his dad had the pharmacy. We had many adventures and childhood memories that I will never forget. Our favorite game was Rambo in the pompass grass in the backyard. So happy to know him. Peace and condolences to the Bullerman family. You’ll be in my thoughts.
