Lynda Marie Wright, age 75, of Wells, MN, died Thursday, January 27, 2022 at her home. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells, MN, with Father Greg Havel officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Barber Township, Faribault Co., MN in Spring of 2022. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells is entrusted with arrangements. Lynda Marie was born August 27, 1946 in St. Paul, MN, to Sidney and Marie (Romani) Wright. She attended Johnson High School in St. Paul. Lynda did many things in her life; she was a seamstress, lifelong companion to her mother, cook, painter, and gardener. She also taught catechism and enjoyed babysitting her many nieces and nephews. But her biggest loves in life were her dogs Peanut and Lilly.
Lynda is survived by her brothers: Gary Wright Sr. and David Wright Sr.; sisters, Kathryn Mailand and Cyndy LaBathe; many nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

This is so saddening! She was my neighbor for several years until 2019 and a very good friend even after her move. We last spoke this past Christmas. She sounded fine so I have no idea what happened! She was a strong-willed woman who truly cared for people. I respected her so much.
She was a strong Catholic and I a strong Protestant. And yet through that, our friendship grew as did our respect for each other. She will truly be missed. Though I have little doubt she is looking down from above as we wait until we meet again.
I know what she meant to me and how this has affected me. So I can only imagine how it has impacted her family. I truly am sorry for your loss. This is definitely a time of mourning that all who knew her share.
