Donna was born February 9th, 1944, in Wells, MN to William and Mary Ann (Mosser) Meyer. Donna truly met her soulmate, Ervin Hollund and married him on June 17, 1961.  They were blessed with 7 children and Donna centered her life around family. The two lived outside of Wells on a farm for 22 years raising hogs and farming the land. They then moved into Wells where they owned and operated “Wells Deluxe Pizza” with the help and support of their children.  Donna and Ervin expanded their education by attending technical college in Albert Lea earning degrees in food science. They each were fortunate and began their careers at the Malt-O-Meal Company in Northfield, MN. Donna was a Quality Lab Technician in the hot cereal plant and Ervin was just blocks away in the cold cereal division. Never in their lives were they apart. Through the farming years, running businesses, schooling, careers and retirement they were hand in hand. Married to one another for 59 years. Donna enjoyed being on the road just “bumming around” as she would say, camping with family, riding their motorcycles to South Dakota or Missouri, finding rummage sales, dining out, being with their precious dog Zoe and attending church.  Donna was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, she later joined Divine Mercy where she was a befriender and Eucharistic Minister as well as at St. Patrick’s where Donna was in bell choir. They belonged to Immaculate Conception Living in Lonsdale, MN. Donna made sure her kids were raised in the church. Her strong Faith in God she always kept and forever will endure.
