Florence Berg, age 83, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022 at Seasons Healthcare in Trimont, MN. Visitation will be one hour (10:00 am -11:00 am) prior to the service at the church with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells, MN, with Father Greg Havel officiating. Florence was born June 3, 1939, a daughter, and one of eight children born to George Berg Sr. and Helen (Haden) Berg in Frost, MN. Florence was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells. She enjoyed baking and cooking and spending time with her family. Special times at Family BBQ’s, and having many extra “kids” hanging out at her house, calling her “mom”. She especially loved and adored her grandchildren and her “Cece”.
She is survived by one son Lonnie (wife Jennifier) Berg of Minnesota Lake, MN; grandchildren: Cecelia, Cameron, Courtney; one great-granddaughter Amara; sisters: Mardelle (Dwain) Dale of Lincoln, NE; VaLores (Don) Olson of Austin, MN, Karen Malakowsky, Cheryl (David) Karge, Pamela (Stephen) Ihme, all of Albert Lea, MN; brother, Raymond (Judy) Berg of St. James, MN; sister-in-law Dianne Berg of Wells; numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, brother George Berg, and brother-in-law, Emil Malakowsky; nephews Kyle Steele and Polo Berg, nieces, Hannah Karge and Katelyn Berg.

Florence was my aunt, she was unique special kind generous, she loved family. Asked for very little understood the simple things in life were best. She was a huge part of my childhood and loved by a big huge family.
