Dale Lloyd Sader, age 74, of Wells, MN, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, June 10, 2023. The Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Sarah Gengler officiating at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery with full Military Honors. Dale was born September 25, 1948 in Albert Lea, MN the son of Lloyd Leon and Ardean Caroline (Stern) Sader. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Wells. He graduated from Wells-Easton High School, the class of 1967. After high school he was drafted into the U.S Army. After military service he was employed in construction as a brick layer. He helped in the restoration of the Cathedral of Saint Paul doing tuckpointing. He also worked in auto body repair. Dale enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley Davidson, and spending time with his dogs.
Dale is survived by his four brothers: Jerald (Sandra) Sader of Mankato, MN, Steve (Isabel) Sader of Holmen, WI, Brian (Mary) Sader of Janesville, MN, and Scott (Tammy) Sader of Rush City, MN; 4 nephews, seven nieces, his cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd (1996), and Ardean (2008), a niece and two nephews.
I first met Dale in the early 70s when I was a carhop at Dutch’s Drive-In. Dale had just come home from Viet Nam. Even though, these were boys coming home, they had already lived a life time. RIP Dale, you earned it!
I first met dale when I was 16 and we’ve remained good friends ever sense he just came over to our place last week and we talk and then I hear he left us on my birthday RIP buddy you’ve been a good friend.
