Ernesto Guerra, age 56, died Thursday, February 5, 2026 at his home in Albert Lea, MN. A Prayer service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, February 13, 2026 at Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells, MN.
Ernesto was born September 30, 1969, son of Jose Suarez and Blanca Guerra, in Toledo, OH. Ernesto achieved his bachelor’s degree and became a teacher. He loved to go fishing and was a very social person. Ernesto was so caring and loving, and was loved by so many people.
Ernesto is survived by his mother Blanca; step-dad Israel Ramos; siblings Mauricipu Guerra, Omar Guerra, Jaklyn Guerra, Jennifer Herrera Guerra; nieces and nephews Lydia Garcia, Joe Garcia, Carmela Carrion, Jose Carrion, Ashley Delgado, Manuel Delgado, Jesus Delgado, Mariah Garcia, and their families.
I worked with Ernesto at Caseys here in Sheldon. He worked in the kitchen. We always had so much fun. He was the light of each shift he worked, and always friendly. My deepest sympathy to his family…

No not Ernie!!!! My deepest condolences are sent out to Jennifer and family. I miss you guys. Ernie was a very awesome dude and be knew how to make others crack up and laugh especially when someone’s having a crappy day. Ernie you will be deeply missed.
