
Eric John Sutter, age 52, of Waterville, Minnesota died, Wednesday, August 19th at 9:59 p.m. at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Mankato from medical complications. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 19th, at the American Legion in Waseca, Minnesota (700 S State St., Waseca, MN 56093) from 1:00-4:00pm.
He was born June 19th, 1974 in Faribault, Minnesota to Lyle and Nana (Eastwood) Sutter. He graduated from Waterville-Elysian-Morristown High School in 1992. He worked at Daikin Applied in Owatonna, MN as a forklift operator.
His hobbies included cooking, baking, babysitting his daughter’s pets, taking care of his rescued pet racoon, and woodworking. He had a classic novel collection, he enjoyed fantasy and action movies, architecture, and learning anything about history – from the crusades to the revolutionary war. He also worked for years at Brown Printing with numerous of his relatives and friends. He also loved Wyoming, it was a special place to him and often talked about going back there.
Eric is preceded in death by his father, Lyle Sutter; older sister, Carrie Ann Sutter; aunt Thelma (Willis) Morsching; and uncles Richard “Dick” Sutter, Ernest “Gus” (Peggy) Sutter, Robert “Bob” Hayes, and Delancy (Joann) Sutlief.
Eric is survived by his daughters: Crystal Flintrop, Zoe Sutter (special friend Tim), Isabel Sutter, and Charlotte Sutter; mother, Nana Sutter; older brother, Terry Sutter; older sister, Beth (Bill) Sutter; niece, Taylor (Sean) Entrekin; nephews, Cody (Abby) Sutter and Maxwell Sutter; great nieces, McKinleigh Entrekin, Allis Sutter, and Charlee Sutter; and great nephews, Colter Entrekin and Knox Entrekin. He is also survived by many more extended relatives and close friends who he loved dearly.
