Willard (Will) Henry Culbertson, age 64, of Bricelyn, Minnesota died Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Beacon in Mapleton, Minnesota. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 6, 2023 at 11:00AM at Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells with  Pastor Peg Marose officiating.   Visitation will be one hour prior to the service (10:00AM to 11:00AM) at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Foley, MN on Tuesday March 7, 2023.  Nasinec Funeral Home in Wells is entrusted with arrangements.

Will was born on November 17, 1958 in Monticello, Minnesota to Paul Sr.  and Mary (Godbout) Culbertson. He attended St. Cloud High School. Will married Jillane (Anderson) Culbertson and had a son Nicholas, they later divorced. Will was a truck driver for many years. Will reconnected with Jane and they were together for the last ten years of Will’s life. They lived as husband and wife along with their pets, the most recent to take a spot in Will’s heart was Niki. Will loved to watch football and was a diehard fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Will also liked to watch WWE, Jeff Dunham and keep up with friends and family on social media. He enjoyed listening to a variety of music from the Gaither Family to 80s and 90s country music. Will loved animals, from the pets he had over his lifetime to other animals, he even enjoyed helping his niece with her alpacas or dog sitting for his fur grandbabies. Every animal loved him and ended up taking a place in Will’s heart. His dog, Niki, was his whole world.

Will was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Culbertson Anderson in November 2019, his parents Paul Sr and Mary Culbertson, his nephew Joshua Culbertson, his grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousin Larry Jacobsen.

Willard will be missed by Jane Anderson, his life partner for the past ten years and Niki, his faithful companion, of Bricelyn, his brothers, Paul (Debra) Culbertson, Gary (Michelle) Culbertson, nephew Matthew (Tera) Culbertson, nieces Peggy (Bill) Warner, Ashley (Ryan) Henry, and Alicia (Rick) Katka. He will also be missed by Jane’s children Jessica, JoAnna (Dana), Jennie (Aaron), and Jamie (Jason) and grandchildren Taylor (Andrew), Dylan (Kloe). Jordyn, Caiden, Madisyn (Taylor), and Brynlee.

People attending are encouraged to wear Vikings’ colors or attire to the service.
