Your mother was a dear sweet woman who became a good friend of my mother at Shepherds Inn. She continued to be a helping hand and a comfort to my mother in her recent battles with dementia. What fun they had teasing each other and others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. You were truly blessed with a remarkable woman!
Living in Arizona, we only got to spend time with Jan in annual visits back to Wells. We gave her the nickname of “Florence” for all the help she gave our family in our time of need. We loved her dearly and continued to exchange greeting cards for years after we left. We had some great laughs over old times last July when we were there. Our sympathy goes out to all of her family. She left a legacy of fond memories with everyone who came in contact with her. Such a great lady!
Like so many others, we have wonderful memories of Jan, and all of the Carlson family. We were friends growing up and our families were close during those years. We will never forget those times together, and our love goes out to all the family.
