Joanne D. Schwartz, age 77 of Easton, MN peacefully went to be with our Lord on September 1, 2026. A double interment will be held Friday, October 9th, 2026 at 2:00pm for Joanne and her husband Rodney at Calvary Cemetery, Prescott Twp., Faribault Co.

Joanne Deborah was born in Chicago, IL to Norman and Jane (Ondra) Schwartz on January 15, 1949. Following her high school graduation in Montgomery, AL, she moved to Minnesota to attend school for Laboratory Technology. She retired from the Minnesota Department of Public Health after working there for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Rodney Larson and her parents.

Joanne is survived by her three sisters, six brothers and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jenny Stiernagle and her family for their long friendship and supportive assistance to Joanne and Rodney; to the staff at the Beacon in Mapleton for their loving and compassionate care; to Cheyenne Brown with Ethical Solutions for her kindness and conscientious management of Joanne’s affairs; to Moments Hospice Team for their exceptional care during her last days at the Beacon; and to Chaplain David Stoeger for his compassion, prayers and peace he brought to Joanne.
